We are a hands-on architectural firm with a diverse portfolio of design work, expertise, knowledge and a wealth of experience in the industry. We are dedicated to providing outstanding client service and enhancing their lives and communities by blending creative expression with a sense of purpose.
Our Founder
Founded by Roberto Menendez, Architect - NSAA, RAIC, Principal with over 35 years of expertise in site planning, design, design-development and project management; his portfolio includes over 140 buildings that range from multi-unit residential, commercial offices and retail, hotels and single-family dwellings. Roberto was the onsite architectural consultant for Residence Inn by Marriott Halifax; and design-development consultant for the Courtyard by Marriott, downtown Halifax. Roberto was also the project architectural designer for the iconic Trillium Condominiums, Icon Bay, and many other developments that dot the Halifax skyline. In addition, Roberto is the designer and developer of two affordable housing buildings in Halifax - La Villa North and La Villa West.
Our Design Philosophy
Our Firm is guided by the design principle of ‘Form follows Function’ which allows us to design efficient and high-function buildings. It is a holistic approach which focuses on creating both beauty and function. In our firm no waste is allowed without reason; therefore, we embrace the design principle of “Less is More” within the parameters of sustainable development while enhancing the public realm. We are conscious about our clients’ needs and budget, the environment and the inhabitants.
